Icefields Parkway & Jasper — Jasper National Park — camping & booking
- Reservable — Whistlers, Wapiti, Miette (townsite area)
- First-come, first-served — Snaring (townsite); Wilcox, Columbia Icefield (tents) and the Icefields Centre RV lot, Jonas Creek, Honeymoon Lake, Mount Kerkeslin (along the Parkway)
Jasper 2024 wildfire. The July 2024 wildfire closed or destroyed a number of Jasper-area facilities. Some campgrounds (e.g. Wabasso) remain closed, and several hostels were lost. Confirm current status on the Jasper National Park camping page before planning around them.
Hostels
- HI Jasper — damaged in the 2024 wildfire; the hostel says rebuilding is underway, so check before counting on it
- HI Mount Edith Cavell — currently closed following the same fire
- HI Beauty Creek — on the Icefields Parkway north of the Columbia Icefield, and the nearest one open
HI Athabasca Falls and HI Maligne Canyon were lost in the 2024 wildfire and no longer appear in Hostelling International's listings.
Alpine Club of Canada huts

- Robson Pass Hut — Mount Robson Provincial Park, at the far end of the Berg Lake trail
