Banff National Park — camping & booking
- Reservable — Tunnel Mountain (Village I & II and Trailer Court), Two Jack Lakeside, Two Jack Main (Banff townsite); Johnston Canyon, Castle Mountain, Protection Mountain (Bow Valley Parkway); Lake Louise (tent & trailer). All Banff and Lake Louise frontcountry campgrounds are reservable.

- HI Banff Alpine Centre — Tunnel Mountain, above the townsite
- HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre — run jointly with the Alpine Club of Canada
- HI Castle Mountain Wilderness Hostel — Bow Valley Parkway, basic and off-grid
Alpine Club of Canada huts
Huts book through the Alpine Club of Canada on a rolling window — six months ahead for members, three for everyone else.
- Castle Mountain Cabin — Castle Junction
- Valley of the Ten Peaks Hut (Neil Colgan) — above Moraine Lake, and the highest permanent structure in Canada; a mountaineering approach, not a hike
- Shadow Lake Lodge — catered, reached on foot or ski from Redearth Creek
North of Lake Louise the park continues up the Icefields Parkway, which has its own campgrounds and hostels.
