Hostels — HI Nordegg / Shunda Creek, the only one in this region
Huts — the Alpine Club of Canada has none here; the nearest are the Wapta huts off the Icefields Parkway

Much of the Bighorn is public land rather than park, where random camping is allowed under the public land use zone rules — no facilities, and the access roads are unpaved.

Highway 11 meets the Icefields Parkway at Saskatchewan River Crossing, which puts the Parkway campgrounds within reach from here.
