- Reservable — Apgar, Fish Creek, Sprague Creek, Avalanche (Going-to-the-Sun Road corridor); Rising Sun, St. Mary (east); Many Glacier
- First-come, first-served — Bowman Lake, Kintla Lake, Logging Creek, Quartz Creek (North Fork, unpaved roads), and Cut Bank (east) — all small and quick to fill; arrive early
- Two Medicine (normally reservable) is closed for the 2026 season for construction — verify before planning around it.
- Hostels — Hostelling International has no property in Montana. (A US park entrance pass is required; a separate vehicle/timed-entry reservation was not required as of the 2026 season, but confirm on nps.gov/glac.)
