Mobile map app suggestions:
- Gaia GPS: A subscription-based app providing offline maps, layers, ability to import GPX files, etc.
- On X Maps is an alternative worth checking out.
- Outmap advertise themselves as the best FATMAP replacement (no longer available after the Strava acquisition).
- Caltopo is also worth considering.
- Hiiker is yet another alternative.
Curated and community-generated trails and traces:
- Alltrails: The paid plans support offline use.
- Trailforks: available as part of the Outside+ Gaia GPS plan.
